From the even semester of the academic session 2014-15, the Department has inaugurated an academic workshop series. These intensive, theme-based interdisciplinary workshops will be organised on a quarterly basis, two per semester. We hope these workshops will attract scholars as well as artists and commentators from across the English literary and Cultural Studies academe in this country, and hence generate pertinent discourse on a range of co-curricular, topical issues. We are confident that these workshops will also provide our students dynamic exposure to and experience of competent and grounded scholarship and thus equip them better for higher studies.
Our inaugural workshop is on the topic 'Cinema and literary adaptations in the Indian context'. Please click here for relevant details.
